Our Story
Nina & Adeline are two peas-in-a-pod with dreams to improve the quality of everyone’s life by filling up their spaces with soulful creations that give back to the earth and communities of the world.
We met in university while studying architecture in Institut Teknologi Bandung and individually continued our careers in Interior Design, Nina in Jakarta and Adeline in Singapore. Nina went to London to finish her Masters Degree in Interior Architecture and Adeline went to get herself certified as a Green Mark Manager in Singapore. Since then we carved our own marks in the Interior Design industry as designers and agents of creativity and solutions.
Though separated since 2010, we are inseparable at heart and dreams. We’re partners in crime when it comes to travel, work, and life. Eleven years later, in January 2021, we created Studio Kisa with a fresh new narrative to change the landscape of original designer pieces.
Our Strengh
Our collective careers have a combined collection of numerous completed interior design projects with happy clients through various space types of spaces, including hospitality, retail, workplace, F&B, and education. Along our years working as lead designers & project leads in our previous firms, we have served a list of clients that ranges from PwC, INSEAD, Dyson, Novartis, Ismaya, Pantja, Capella Group, and many others.
Our Dream
After dwelling for over 10 years in our careers, we fell in love with the beauty and impact of design in changing our behavior and mood within a space. We also became familiar with designer creations and we start to realize how we get to fill up our projects with their pieces, but we never see them in real living spaces.
So we wonder, why does good design, followed by good quality, feel so elite and distant?
Combining our love for our communities and answering the call to support sustainability acts, we were awakened by the need to utilize our talents as designers and create products that can change the scenery of designer pieces. We believe that good design shouldn’t only be adored in staged immaculate spaces in photographs, but it should be made for everyone in our homes.
Good designer pieces should not just be an inspiration.
It should be accessible to all of us dreamers.

Being proud Indonesians, we are confident in the richness of unique materials and the excellence of intricate craftsmanship that Indonesia can offer. Combined with our fresh authenticity and artistic outlook, our creations will be produced in Indonesia to posses its soul and charm in modern forms.
